The best known list of festival winners has reached its 13th edition, which reveals the agencies and campaigns that stood out in the most important festivals worldwide in 2011. The 2011 Gunn Report, produced by Mr. Donald Gunn, former global CCO at Leo Burnett, was released on Thursday, Feb. 2. Wieden+Kennedy won most of the awards in the main categories.

AlmapBBDO was the highlight among Brazilian agencies, ranking third among the Most Awarded Agencies, behind Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam and Wieden+Kennedy Portland (first and second respectively.) However, it topped the list of the Most Awarded Agencies in the Press category.

Last year, it topped the general ranking. The good news is that it remains the greatest winner as The Gunn Report’s Most Awarded Agency. Having won in 2004, 2005 and 2010, AlmapBBDO is tied with DDB London, also a three-time winner. This is the first time that Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam has won The Gunn Report. The Portland office was the 2002 winner.

Brazil is also represented in The 2011 Gunn Report by DM9DDB, which created the Vizinhos [Neighbors] campaign for FEDEX, which ranked second in the category of Most Awarded Print Ads and Campaigns, behind Heaven and Hell, by JWT Shanghai for Samsonite.

Brazil took the third position, behind the U.S. and the U.K., but ahead of Argentina and Germany.
